Zeitz MOCAA GALA is the museum’s annual fundraiser and highly awaited grand evening in the social calendar. The 2024 Gala will take place on Sunday, 11 February 2024.
The Gala serves as a very special gathering for rejuvenation through communal support to one of Africa’s most prominent art institutions. The evening is an enchanting and galvanising experience that consolidates a common goal shared by private philanthropy and corporate social responsibility for the support of the arts.

Guests will be entertained by South African singer and songwriter Simphiwe Dana and Capetonian artist Nobuhle Ashanti.
An Exclusive Auction facilitated by Strauss & Co will see works by some of the greatest artists working today, including Mary Evans, Alfredo Jaar, William Kentridge, Senzeni Marasela, and Abdoulaye Konaté, amongst others.
