Zeitz MOCAA Food will open on 01 December 2017.
The Aleit Group is renowned for its spectacular luxury events over the past 20 years and has been appointed by the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa (Zeitz MOCAA) as the food and hospitality provider for the museum. This includes the management of the eatery space on level 6. It is truly a breathtaking venue which can accommodate up to 200 guests with a 270-degree view of Cape Town, and possibly the best view of Table Mountain in the city. The Zeitz MOCAA Food also looks out onto the museum’s wonderful rooftop sculpture garden. Inspired by local ingredients and truly South African flavours, Food ticks all the right boxes: SASSI friendly, Halaal friendly, carb conscious, healthy and, well, downright delicious. Focused on the creative power of flavour, we guarantee you’ll become addicted to the clever use of ingredients and the homey goodness poured into each dish.

The Museum Shop will showcase a selection of art-led contemporary design, books, prints, stationery, gifts, jewellery and fashion by leading design companies from South Africa, the African continent and beyond. During September and October 2017, a museum pop-up shop will be open at the main entrance, showcasing a taste of what to expect from our new museum shop with special launch editions and exclusive Zeitz MOCAA designs. The Museum Shop will open in late November.
