Zeitz MOCAA Volunteers have the opportunity to gain exposure to the workings of a major art museum and contribute valuable visitor services to a non-profit institution. The Zeitz MOCAA Volunteer Programme recruits and trains volunteers for the museum’s guided tour programmes, designed to serve the needs and interests of our diverse visitors, from primary school children to adults. Please note that volunteer opportunities will be made available after the opening of the Art Education Center in early 2018. Please contact the Zeitz MOCAA Volunteer Coordinator for more information.
Zeitz MOCAA believes in flexible partnerships with the corporate community, offering a range of options that can be tailored to fit the needs of individual businesses. As one of the highest cultural institutions on the African continent, your alignment with Zeitz MOCAA not only provides the necessary benefit of association but enables your business to play an active role in the development of arts and culture throughout the continent. Contemporary art has the power to change people’s perceptions and offer access to niche audiences that are often hard to reach. Please contact the Institutional Advancement and External Affairs Department for more information.

Sponsors to the Curatorial Training Programme make a significant contribution not only to the institution but the careers of young, practising professionals who might otherwise be unable to access the wealth of experience and knowledge such a programme provides. Your contribution will help to build a legacy of art on the continent and will assist in increasing candidates ability to make important contributions to the development of arts and culture. Please email the Institutional Advancement and External Affairs Department for more information.
Zeitz MOCCA Councils are specialised, upper-tier memberships which grant behind the scene access to the museum, its artists, art fairs and biennales. This intimate focus enables members, its collections, and its artists, to learn more about the museum by working closely with a specific institute’s curatorial team. This support represents an important source of support for new acquisitions and programming. Please email Institutional Advancement and External Affairs Department for more information.
