Children’s Interactive Tours

This is an interactive tour for children between the ages of 9 and 12 years. These tours take place on the first two Saturday mornings of every month from 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. A maximum of ten children can be accommodated on the tour – spaces can be reserved on Eventbrite. The tour will begin the Centre for Art Education on Level -1 or in the BMW Atrium

Africa Wednesday Open Studio

Classroom 2 in the Centre for Art Education is open on Africa Wednesday between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. offering children and parents’ practical making activities inspired by themes or works in the museum’s Permanent Collection and Temporary Exhibitions. The activities will be facilitated by CFAE staff but will not take the form of a structured formal art lesson, and parents may not leave their children unattended at any time during the session.

Children’s Holiday Programmes

Holiday workshops and activities for children, families and youth take place during school holiday periods in April, June and December.

Autumn Holiday Programme – taking place during the March/ April school holiday periods

Summer Programme – taking place during the December school holiday period

Admission is free for Zeitz MOCAA Members parents/guardians and children under 18. African citizens enjoy free admission every Wednesday between 10.a.m. and 1 p.m. Normal admission fee applies to non-member parents/guardians. Purchase your membership here.
