Lasting a full hour, this tour will take you through various floors of the museum, focusing on works of art that revolve around notions of the home; whether physical, familial, or through processes of migration and the subsequent disconnection that occurs.
Included in this tour are works by Isaac Julien (United Kingdom); Mary Sibande (South Africa); Julien Sinzogan (Benin); Glenn Ligon (United States of America); Njideka Akunyili Crosby (Nigeria); Thania Petersen (South Africa); Taiye Idahor (Nigeria) and; Lungiswa Gqunta (South Africa), amongst others.
Please note this will be a training tour and young curators will join the tour as part of their training.
