Date & Time

14 December 18 - 14 December 18

10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Bring your little ones to the museum for a fun-filled morning of creating patterned paper using simple and accessible printing techniques.

This Silo Circles Children’s workshop will encourage children between the ages of 8 and 12 to use a variety of found objects to create their own printed gift-wrapping paper inspired by the silo design of our iconic building. This workshop is about paint, ink, bright colours, circles of every kind and colour and festive pattern-making.

Led by experienced teachers, children will be inspired by the space and encouraged to explore a range of drawing and collage techniques. Other workshops in this season will encourage children to explore the creative possibilities of paper, plastic, fabric, and recycled materials in a creative, nurturing, and child-friendly environment, where they will learn about the museum, the artworks on exhibition, and the history of the Silo District.
