IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR ARTISTS OF HOME IS WHERE THE ART IS

Dec 14, 2021 | Zeitz MOCAA Announcements, Zeitz MOCAA Exhibitions

Please note that the artwork collections process for the Home Is Where the Art Is exhibition has concluded. We have attempted to reach you via multiple emails, SMSs and calls to collect your artwork.

Your artwork has not been collected nor have you made alternative arrangements to collect the work during the one-month grace period as per the loan agreement. As per the conditions of the loan agreement, we direct your attention to clause 14:

Artworks that are not collected in the required timeframe will return to Zeitz MOCAA where entrants will be given a one-month grace period to collect artworks from. Failure to collect within this period will result in the works being disposed of at the discretion of the organizers.

Please read the below carefully:

Your artwork has been condition reported, professionally packaged and taken to a secure climate-controlled offsite storage facility in Blackheath, Cape Town.

We regret to inform you that it is not possible to arrange for collection during December 2021 and January 2022.

We will send further communication at the end of January regarding the final dates for collection from the museum in February 2022.

Failure to collect during this period will result in the museum enforcing clause 14 of the loan agreement.

We wish you a safe festive season and look forward to connecting with you in the new year.

All the best,

Lee Burgers
