MOCAA Art Club (M A C)

Feb 25, 2025

Applications are now open for the 2025 MOCAA Art Club (M A C) cohort!

As part of Zeitz MOCAA’s BMW Centre for Art Education, M A C is an art education programme for teenagers in grades 9 to 11 from various schools and localities across Cape Town, and aims to create social cohesion through art literacy and criticality. Its approach and methodology integrate critical thinking, discussion, and artmaking; to build art literacy and foster social cohesion. Through exhibition visits and studio practice, members engage in both collaborative and individual projects – ranging from conceptual development, research, and making. The work done throughout the year culminates in an exhibition.
