Indigo Waves & Other Stories: Re-Navigating the Afrasian Sea and Notions of Diaspora, currently on show at Zeitz MOCAA, is an exhibition that explores Afrasian artists’ connection to the Indian Ocean – a mass of water so integral to their lives, histories and cultures.
Inspired by the exhibition and to celebrate the start of summer, the participants of the October Family Learning Workshop will create artworks of their choosing that express their personal connection to the ocean.
Run by Amy Cornfield, the Family Learning Workshops enable parents/guardians and their children to share a creative experience and develop their engagement with art, together. Materials and equipment are provided along with a snack break.
