Date & Time

24 September 22 - 24 September 22

10:15 AM - 12:30 PM

Suspended in the atrium space of Zeitz MOCAA are six large-scale sculptures constructed from black tissue paper by Malagasy artist Joël Andrianomearisoa. The artwork, The Five Continents of All Our Desires, is a poetic reference to land masses and geographies of the imagination. Using the same materials as the artist, the participants of the September Family Learning Workshop will be invited to create their own hanging forms from their imaginations; forms that play with ideas of fragility versus solidity, ambiguity and new possibilities.

Run by Amy Cornfield, the Family Learning Workshops enable parents/guardians and their children to share a creative experience and develop their engagement with art, together. Materials and equipment are provided along with a snack break.
