Zeitz MOCAA’s Centre for Art Education (CFAE) invites children and their parents or guardians to participate in a creative activity to encourage all to celebrate this festive season with their own unique cultural aspect. The idea is inspired by the Islamic fabric talisman called an azeemat, Hindu prayer flags and, of course, Christmas decorations. We invite children and parents to adorn a bare tree with objects created by them in our studio. These objects will be donated to children’s organisations that we work with. This programme will take place on 11 and 18 December, and is free to all.
The workshop will be held at the museum’s Centre for Art Education on Level -1.
