BMW Centre for Art Education
The BMW Centre for Art Education at Zeitz MOCAA embodies a shared vision between BMW Group South Africa and the museum to make contemporary art from Africa and its diaspora accessible to all. Rooted in a dynamic three-year partnership, this collaboration strengthens Zeitz MOCAA’s mission to inspire and empower communities through art education. Led by a dedicated team of specialists, the Centre creates opportunities for children, youth, teachers, and adults to engage meaningfully with art—through hands-on workshops, dialogue, and critical reflection—both within the museum and beyond its walls. By aligning BMW’s longstanding commitment to cultural innovation with Zeitz MOCAA’s pioneering role as a Pan-African and Pan-Diasporic institution, the BMW Centre for Art Education fosters creativity, participation, and lifelong learning, ensuring that art remains a powerful catalyst for knowledge, connection, and social transformation.
Zeitz MOCAA's education programming is generously supported by BMW South Africa.
