The annual Zeitz MOCAA Gala, anchored around the Investec Cape Town Art Fair, is the museum’s principal philanthropic event. For one extraordinary night, artists, patrons, collectors and partners gather under one roof, a room alive with the energy of a continent’s imagination, raising the support that carries African creativity into its next decade.
Celebrating 10 Years
In 2027, Zeitz MOCAA turns ten. A decade of daring exhibitions, of artists given the space to dream, of contemporary African art commanding the world stage.
We celebrate this milestone in loving tribute to our late Executive Director, Koyo Kouoh, whose fearless vision shaped who we are. And we step boldly into our second decade as we welcome our incoming Artistic Director, Elvira Dyangani Ose, who joins us to carry that legacy forward.
This will be our biggest gala yet, and we invite you to be part of it – your support keeps the stories of Africa and its diaspora on a global stage.
