Stefano Rabolli Pansera was born in Brescia, Italy. Pansera currently lives and works in Sardinia, Italy. Pansera is Director of the collective Beyond Entropy Africa, which serves as an Adjunct Curator for Books and Works on Paper of Zeitz MOCAA.
Pansera studied at the Architectural Association School of Architecture (London, UK).
Since 2012, Pansera has been the Director of the Mangiabarche Gallery (Sant’Antioco, Italy). Pansera is also the Founding Director of Beyond Entropy, which he established in 2010. From 2007 to 2011, Pansera was Unit Master at the Architectural Association School of Architecture (London, UK). From 2005 to 2007, Pansera worked at Herzog & de Meuron (Basel, Switzerland).
As part of Beyond Entropy, Pansera co-curated Luanda, Encyclopedic City, Angolan Pavilion, 55th International Art Exhibition, Venice Biennale (Venice, Italy) in 2013, which won the Golden Lion. In 2012, also with Beyond Entropy, Pansera co-curated Beyond Entropy Angola, Angolan Pavilion, 13th International Architectural Exhibition, Venice Biennale (Venice, Italy). Pansera co-curated the exhibition Luanda de Baixo P’ra Cima, iperforma (Porto, Portugal) in 2012.
