This conversation between cultural analyst and author, Ashraf Jamal, and Sven Christian, Adriane Iann Assistant Curator of Books and Works on Paper at Zeitz MOCAA, aims to tease out many of the preconceptions surrounding artistic practice in South Africa by revisiting the work of a number of artists who’ve held a very particular position within the South African vocabulary.
